Frisco Chamber Facilitates Discussion on 85th Texas Legislative Session

Hosted by the Frisco Chamber of Commerce and facilitated by NBC 5 anchor, Julie Fine, State Representatives Justin Holland (R-Rockwall) and Matt Shaheen (R-Plano) joined Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney, Frisco ISD School Board President John Classe and Texas Association of Business President Chris Wallace to discuss what did and did not happen during the 85th session of the Texas Legislature.

Topics discussed included legislative efforts to curtail property tax growth, school finance reform, school choice initiatives, the “bathroom bill” and the Texas Film Commission.
