Classe Will Serve a Second Term as Filing Window Closes

The 30-day window for candidates to file for a place on the May 5th ballot closed Friday at 5 PM, and I am excited to announce no challengers in Place 6. Thank you to all who have offered support during my first term and over the past months as we geared-up for re-election. I am humbled, and it is an honor to be able to serve the residents of Frisco ISD for a second term.

Over the next three years, in collaboration with my fellow board members, it is my plan to place continued focus on expanding student opportunity and engagement, limiting class size, providing competitive teacher pay, and urging lawmakers to modernize the Texas school funding system.

Public schools educate over 90% of school-age children in the United States, and Frisco ISD sets an example for others to follow. We must urge lawmakers, especially those who represent Collin and Denton counties, to use districts like Frisco as an example of what works and what successfully educates the vast majority of tomorrow’s leaders.

I pledge to keep telling our story, sharing our successes and struggles with the community, and fighting for our children and the families of Frisco ISD.

Thank you for your support.
